1. About the Role (Job Summary)

As a key leader in our Distribution Center (DC), you will oversee daily operations within the LUM area, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining McKesson’s high standards for safety, quality, and productivity. You’ll lead a team of associates across multiple functions including picking, packing, refrigeration processing, and automated systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Reporting to DC leadership, you’ll be instrumental in supporting our mission to deliver better health outcomes.

Target Salary: 65-70K (depending on individual experience)

NO EXTERNAL RELOCATION PROVIDED- MUST BE WITHIN 50MI of site.

2. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Lead and manage daily operations in the LUM area, including picking, packing, refrigeration, and automated storage systems.
  • Monitor productivity and performance using tools such as JDA, Power BI, and internal web dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies across all departments.
  • Utilize ADP for timekeeping, PTO tracking, and attendance accountability.
  • Analyze DPMO metrics to identify trends, coach associates, and improve operational accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and resolve fulfillment or inventory issues.
  • Communicate regularly with leadership to report on operational performance and challenges.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals.
3. Critical Skills
  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a large-scale distribution center with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to engage and lead teams effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to a high-energy distribution environment and work various shifts, including nights and weekends, with overtime as needed.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
4. Specialized Knowledge & Skills
  • Industry experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Skilled in interviewing, coaching, performance evaluation, and documentation.
  • Experience with WMS systems and DEA regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Access and data analysis tools such as Power BI.
  • Familiarity with JDA for performance tracking and ADP for timekeeping.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $55,500 - $92,500
