Senior Product Manager, Patient Engagement

Berry Street
New York, NY

Berry Street is a business-in-a-box platform enabling registered dietitians to start and scale private practices that accept health insurance. We provide all of the software needed to run a thriving practice and administrative services like insurance contracting, eligibility verification, customer support, claims billing, and even patient acquisition.

The Opportunity

Berry Street is tackling America’s most comprehensive health crisis: food. More than half of Americans are struggling with their relationship with food, are clinically overweight, or suffer from a chronic condition linked to their diet.

Nutrition therapy is clinically proven to make a difference, and most commercial health insurance plans cover it at $0 out-of-pocket. Berry Street empowers registered dietitians to launch and grow in-network private practices. We’re creating game-changing technology to build America’s largest dietitian network and ensure that anyone can access the help they need.

Since launching in January 2023, we’ve grown to over 1,100 providers on our platform and tens of thousands of patients served, across all 50 states. We’re a Series B company backed by top VCs like Northzone, Sofina, and FJ Labs, as well as angel investors like the founders of Revolut, Spring, Grow Therapy, and Unified Vision.

About the Role

At Berry Street, we believe building trust in healthcare starts with designing thoughtful, effective systems, and product is central to that mission. As we expand access to personalized nutrition care, we’re looking for a Product Owner to lead the next chapter of innovation across our patient experience, helping us engage more users, deliver better outcomes, and build lasting relationships through care.

In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end strategy and performance throughout a patient’s journey on Berry Street. You’ll lead a cross-functional pod of engineers, a designer, and clinicians operating with the autonomy of a founder to set the roadmap, execute quickly, and drive meaningful impact. This includes everything from discovery and experimentation to delivery, user communications, and performance tracking.

You’ll develop deep expertise in your domain and become the go-to leader for all things related to your product. This is not just a delivery role—it’s a high-ownership opportunity for someone who thrives in complexity, thinks in systems, and wants to shape the future of healthcare through better infrastructure, access, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and scale the patient experience roadmap throughout their journey with Berry Street
  • Partner with design, engineering, and clinical ops to build intuitive, high-impact UX across web and mobile surfaces
  • Lead discovery and experimentation to validate solutions and de-risk key decisions
  • Prioritize and launch features that reduce friction, build trust, and drive outcomes
  • Ground product decisions in user research and data, leveraging behavioral insights, feedback, and metrics to inform priorities and design
  • Analyze user behavior and feedback to surface insights and guide continuous improvement
  • Champion patient-centered design across the product, team rituals, and decision-making

We’d Love To Hear From You If…

  • You have 5+ years of experience as a product manager
  • You’ve played a key role in building and shipping real products—especially if they reached early product-market fit or a milestone like seed or Series A
  • You’ve worked closely with engineers and cross-functional partners to translate complex problems into elegant, usable solutions
  • You’ve managed teams or initiatives where product outcomes were on the line—and you care as much about how things work as how they look
  • Experience leading retention initiatives, with bonus points for work on mobile platforms
  • You bring a builder’s mindset—you’re not afraid of ambiguity, and you see scrappy, 0→1 work as a feature, not a bug
  • The chance to drive impact within the healthcare landscape from day one
  • Comprehensive health insurance plans, including dental and vision
  • Spacious and light-drenched Madison Square Park office ☀️
  • Generous PTO 🏖️
  • 401k with match 💰
  • Citibike membership 🚲
  • Unlimited dietitian care 🍓
  • Continuous learning opportunities
  • Competitive salary
  • The opportunity to help build a rapidly scaling start-up organization by taking strong ownership of your work, mentorship, and our unbounded leadership opportunities
