About the Opportunity

Talent Depot is hiring on behalf of a world-class financial services firm with a nearly 50-year history of stability and innovation. We’re seeking a Senior Software Developer in Test to join the Tools Engineering group, which builds high-performance testing frameworks and productivity tools used by developers, QA engineers, and traders alike.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, supporting front-office trading systems and delivering tools that directly impact business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust test frameworks and tools tailored to trading and engineering workflows
  

• Build and maintain scalable test suites using Pytest
  

• Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to troubleshoot Linux OS and system issues
  

• Enhance test frameworks, coverage, and automation capabilities
  

• Deliver scalable, high-quality solutions under tight timelines
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in financial services , especially with front-office trading systems
  

• 10+ years of experience programming in Python
  

• Expertise in the FIX protocol and trading workflows
  

• Solid understanding of financial instruments: equities, options, and market data
  

• Hands-on experience with Linux systems and Git
  

• Proven success building scalable test automation frameworks using Pytest
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker , Java , and Perl
  

• Knowledge of back-office and clearing processes
  

• Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills
  

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  

• Strong organizational and time management skills
