Our client is a property management company. They seek a temp Recertification Specialist to join their Jamaica, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Gather information required for tenant income certifications and process data to prepare annual recertifications, ensuring timely completion
• Communicate with tenants and property managers to coordinate the submission of documentation and resolve any outstanding items
• Validate income details received from tenants in accordance with program regulations and enter verified data into Yardi
• Obtain tenant signatures upon completion of the recertification process
• Review and maintain tenant files to ensure full compliance with program requirements and recordkeeping standards

Requirements

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Property Management, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in affordable housing, property management, or compliance admin
• Understanding of income certification, recertification, or other housing program requirements
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local housing compliance regulations
• Yardi experience is required
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
