Our client is a property management company. They seek a temp Recertification Specialist to join their Jamaica, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Gather information required for tenant income certifications and process data to prepare annual recertifications, ensuring timely completion
- Communicate with tenants and property managers to coordinate the submission of documentation and resolve any outstanding items
- Validate income details received from tenants in accordance with program regulations and enter verified data into Yardi
- Obtain tenant signatures upon completion of the recertification process
- Review and maintain tenant files to ensure full compliance with program requirements and recordkeeping standards
Requirements

Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Property Management, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in affordable housing, property management, or compliance admin
- Understanding of income certification, recertification, or other housing program requirements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local housing compliance regulations
- Yardi experience is required
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
