About Maritime
Western New York Maritime Charter School is a military-style public charter school grounded in structure, accountability, and leadership development . Our classrooms are organized, disciplined, and focused on execution.
We do not operate in a loose, discussion-only model. Teachers are expected to lead instruction with clarity, enforce expectations, and produce results .
Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a teacher who:

Can hold students accountable for reading, writing, and thinking
-
Enforces expectations consistently, every period
-
Is comfortable correcting behavior in real time
-
Understands that literacy growth requires repetition, feedback, and discipline

Thrives in a high-accountability, no-excuses environment
If your classroom depends on student motivation or becomes inconsistent when challenged, this is not the right fit.
