Position Summary

We are currently hiring a Breast Imaging Tracking Specialist who will be responsible for tracking all breast imaging reports/results and log reported recommendations. The BI Tracking Specialist ensures confidentiality, security and integrity of data and information in accordance NYS privacy laws and UHP's policy and procedure.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Previous experience working in a community-based health center or similar setting ideally with breast imaging and/or mammo.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• 1-2 years of related administrative experience required.
• Proficiency with computers and software.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

Key Duties

• Add mammo/sono patients to all the radiology templates: screening, diagnostic, breast ultrasound.
• Generates and mail PENRAD letters.
• Participates in orientation, training and quality initiatives as determined by organizational and departmental requirements.
• Assists PSRs in scheduling follow up breast imaging appointments.
• Prepares packages for biopsy in outside facilities and obtains pathology reports.
• Tracks all breast imaging reports/results and log reported recommendations for follow up, biopsy, etc.

Compensation

$19.50 per hour ($40,560/annum)

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule

Candidates must possess availability to work fully onsite at our Bronx-Based health center. Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
