Job Description
Are you ready to bring some excitement to the table? We are searching for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team as Servers and help create an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. In this role, you will be at the heart of the action, delivering exceptional service with a smile and ensuring that everyone has a great time at Apex. If you love good food, great vibes, and making lasting memories, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
As a Server, your responsibilities will include providing outstanding customer service by ensuring that guests enjoy a pleasant and memorable dining experience. You will work closely with your team and communicate effectively with management to meet guests' needs. You will need to demonstrate a strong knowledge of our menu items and ingredients, assisting guests with any questions and offering recommendations when necessary. Engaging with guests at their table and creating a welcoming atmosphere will also be a key part of the role.
In terms of order-taking and delivery, you will accurately and efficiently take food and beverage orders, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions. You will also serve orders promptly, ensuring they are delivered with attention to detail and clear tables quickly to maintain a clean and organized dining area. You will familiarize yourself with our full menu offerings, including food and beverage options, to provide guests with detailed descriptions and answer any questions. Additionally, staying informed about the attractions at Apex is essential so you can assist guests and provide useful recommendations.
As part of the team, you will be expected to complete opening and closing sidework tasks, including restocking and organizing to ensure smooth operations. You will also support your team members by answering phone calls, assisting with seating guests, and helping pre-bus tables. Teamwork is essential, and you will work together to fulfill running sidework responsibilities, such as delivering food and beverages, resetting tables, and restocking wait stations.
Flexibility is important in this role, so you will need to stay aware of activities around the facility and be open to additional tasks assigned by management to help contribute to the overall success of the team.
To qualify for this role, you should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and be at least 18 years old. Ideally, you will have 1-2 years of experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry and be able to work a flexible schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with weekend availability being essential. Experience with POS systems and strong cash-handling skills are required. You should also have excellent multitasking abilities and remain calm during busy or stressful times. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a keen attention to detail, will help you provide exceptional service and prioritize tasks effectively. Previous experience working events is a plus.
As a member of our team, you will enjoy a variety of perks, including competitive compensation, opportunities for growth, free attractions, and 50% off select food items. You'll also have a flexible schedule that allows you to balance work and play while being part of a dynamic team that shares your passion for fun and service.
