We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team in Albany, New York. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth communication and providing excellent service. This is a long-term contract position offering stability and an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:• Greet visitors and ensure they feel welcomed upon arrival.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, answering calls promptly and directing them to the appropriate departments.
• Handle inbound calls efficiently, addressing inquiries and providing necessary information.
• Operate a switchboard with up to 10 phone lines, maintaining seamless call management.
• Provide general administrative support, including scheduling and record-keeping.
• Maintain the reception area to ensure it remains clean and presentable.
• Assist with distributing mail and handling deliveries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and workflow.
• Respond to requests and resolve issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction.• Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role.
• Proficiency in managing a multi-line phone system and switchboard operations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle inbound calls with professionalism and efficiency.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of basic administrative tasks and office equipment.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor to create a positive first impression.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
