Position Title: Registered Dietitian

Location: Bronx, NY 10451

Duration: 14 Weeks

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Day Shift, ~40 hours/week)

Pay Rate: $45 – $53 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to assess patients’ nutritional needs, provide guidance on food and drug interactions, and develop personalized nutrition care plans. The Dietitian will collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure patients receive effective, evidence-based nutritional support.

Responsibilities

• Assess and screen patients’ nutritional status and needs

• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans

• Provide education on food/drug interactions to patients and families

• Interview patients and families regarding dietary habits

• Interpret laboratory and medical data for nutrition planning

• Modify patient menus as required to meet dietary needs

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition, or related field from an accredited institution

Licensure / Certification:

• Registered Dietitian (CDR) – required for acute care
  
  OR

• New York State Dietitian-Nutritionist Certification (NYSED) – required for post-acute care

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (required)

• 2+ years preferred

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong clinical assessment and analytical skills

• Knowledge of food and drug interactions

• Excellent communication and patient education abilities

• Ability to collaborate with healthcare teams

• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation skills

• Ability to manage multiple patients and priorities efficiently
