Prepares quotes and assists brokers and Sales Representatives with information as needed. May provide administrative support to others.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

Reviews broker requests for quotes and requests additional information from broker as needed.

Generates proposals using various internal software and transmits to broker.

Enter customer information into system and verify for accuracy. Scan any necessary documents as needed.

Prepares quote requests and transmits requests to carriers as needed.

Coordinates and organizes proposal return to broker, monitoring for timeliness and accuracy.

Prepare and create Excel and/or PowerPoint presentations for Brokers and clients.

Maintains a daily and monthly quote logs.

Acts as liaison with carriers for materials and marketing/enrollment supplies.

Prepares and transmits proposals and quotes.

Responds to inquiries/requests from agents, brokers, and/or carrier representatives.

Enters data via BenefitMall system.

Additional projects as assigned.

Physical requirements include sitting, frequently speaking and hearing, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, crawling, kneeling and the ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Occasional long, irregular hours

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of two (2) years related medical group experience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, and Outlook Exchange; proficient in Internet Explorer. Especially strong in Excel.

Working knowledge of insurance sales submission requirements.

Communicate effectively with internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writing.

Read, comprehend, and interpret job-related documents.

Strong attention to detail.

Type a minimum of thirty (30) words per minute.

Develop and maintain good relationships at all levels within the company and with agents, brokers, and/or carrier representatives.

Work in and contribute to a positive team environment.

Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

The annual base salary for this position is $70,000.00 - $75,000.00.
