CAD Designer

M + K Development, LLC is seeking a CAD Designer to support telecommunications infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and construction documents for wireless facility installations and modifications. The CAD Designer collaborates with engineering and project teams to translate site data, structural analyses, and design requirements into precise drawings used for permitting and construction. The position requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of drafting standards, and proficiency with industry design software.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed CAD drawings for telecommunications site layouts, tower structures, and equipment installations
• Prepare construction drawings based on engineering designs, surveys, and project specifications
• Revise existing drawings to reflect design updates, field conditions, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy and project alignment
• Maintain organized drawing files and project documentation following company standards
• Assist with preparation of zoning and permitting drawing packages for municipal submissions
• Review drawings for completeness, dimensional accuracy, and drafting compliance
• Support project teams by updating technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor degree in drafting, engineering technology, architecture, or a related field
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar drafting platforms
• Experience preparing technical drawings for engineering, construction, or telecommunications projects
• Understanding of drafting standards, technical documentation, and construction drawings
• Ability to interpret engineering notes, structural plans, and site survey information
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple drawing revisions and project deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
