Financial Controller - Part Time

Corporate Coffee Systems is a leading coffee and refreshment supplier in the New York metropolitan area, providing gourmet coffee, brewing equipment, and a wide range of refreshment solutions to businesses across the region.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time Financial Controller to support the company’s financial oversight, reporting, and analysis functions. This role focuses on financial review, accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial insight in partnership with senior leadership. This is a hands-on, on-site role.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Oversee general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Review budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support bank reconciliations, accruals, and period-end close review
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and reporting standards
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management
• Support audit preparation and regulatory reporting as needed

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and financial reporting experience
• Background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Knowledge of compliance and financial controls
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification is a plus

Position Details & Benefits

• 2–3 days per week
• Part-time role with the possibility of future expansion based on business needs

• Up to $45 per hour , based on experience
