Bast Hatfield Construction is expanding it's grasp on the capital region by hiring another estimator with a proven track record of bidding public and private work in our market. Typical project sizes range from $2m to $20m GC bid packages.

Primary Work Activities

• Assemble and oversee bids for all types of projects including commercial, retail, public works, industrial, school, offices, and medical.
• Competitive Bid strategist
• Quantity take off of construction items, obtain subcontractor and material quotes.
• Conceptual estimating 

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience working as an estimator for a GENERAL CONTRACTOR in the northeast.
• Experience with both PUBLIC and PRIVATE work a plus.
• Hands on field experience also a plus.
• BS in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Related degrees accepted.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing; computer skills are a must. Knowledge of Timberline Estimating Software a plus.

Compensation

• Salary will be AMAZING. It will be determined based on the candidate and what you bring to the table. Full comp package may be worth up to 50% or more of base salary.
• Christmas and Performance Bonuses are exceptional.
