Duration: 14 Weeks

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

Hours: 40 hours/week (5 days/week)

Shift Timing: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Pay Rate: $45 – $53 per hour

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join a clinical care team in the Bronx, NY. This role is responsible for assessing patients’ nutritional needs, providing dietary education, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge and a patient-centered approach to care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct timely screening and comprehensive assessments of patients’ nutritional status
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
• Interview patients and families to obtain dietary history and preferences
• Analyze laboratory, physical, and social data to support nutrition care decisions
• Educate patients on prescribed diets and document comprehension
• Monitor and document food and drug interactions
• Adjust menus and dietary plans based on clinical needs
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate nutrition interventions
• Maintain accurate and compliant patient documentation

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or a related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience

Licensure / Certification (One of the following required):

• Registered Dietitian (CDR) – required for acute care settings
  
  OR
• New York State Dietitian-Nutritionist Certification (NYSED) – required for post-acute or long-term care settings

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

• Master’s degree in a related field

Experience:

• 2+ years of clinical experience

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
