STAFF ANALYST TRAINEE, STEP 1

The mission of the New York City Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in New York City by working in partnership with the community to enforce the law preserve peace protect the people reduce fear and maintain order. The Staff Analyst Trainees duties will include (but is not limited to) the following duties:
- Creating and administering ad-hoc and on-demand reports utilizing New York City human resources databases and systems such as CHRMS PMS PRISE and NYCAPS to collect and analyze data;
- Conducting moderately difficult and responsible operational studies;
- Performing research using quantitative analysis and other research techniques and preparing analytical reports;
- Preparing business process documents outlining various human resources processes;
- Ensuring compliance with all Federal State and NYC personnel rules and regulations;
- Managing special human resources projects;
- Collecting and analyzing metrics for the Human Resources Division and preparing related reports.

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college.
