- Collaborate with paralegals and other attorneys to ensure seamless case management.
- Represent clients in court or administrative proceedings as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license, in good standing, to practice law in New York State.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trusts and estates and elder law. That said, we are willing to train the right candidate who has less experience.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Compassionate and client-centered approach to legal practice. Commitment to a positive client experience.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Experience with estate tax planning matters is a plus.
Why Join Us?
- Competitive Salary commensurate with experience, and benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) and paid time off.
- Supportive, collaborative environment driven by a desire to provide a positive client experience.
- Opportunities for professional growth and continuing legal education.
