Backend Developer (Mid-Level Python/Go)

Base salary in the range of $100,000 to $140,000 plus equity. Minimum Experience Required: 2+ years of professional experience in backend development with Python or Go. The Opportunity: We're looking for a Mid-Level Backend Developer to join our team and help us craft the core of our platform. You'll design, build, and scale our backend systems. What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python or Go.

• Build and consume RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.

• Work with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) to optimize data storage and retrieval.

• Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms.

• Contribute to system architecture and scalability discussions.

• Write unit and integration tests.

• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers (if you're into that!).

• Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams.

• Tackle challenging technical problems with creativity.

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of professional experience in backend development with Python or Go.

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles.

• Experience with at least one relational database (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL database (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).

• Familiarity with API design (RESTful or GraphQL).

• Experience with version control (e.g., Git).

• A passion for clean, well-documented, and testable code.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Contributions to open-source projects.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Go testing).
