An internship with us gives you the opportunity to work side by side with passionate problem solvers on powerful and fulfilling work. This Opportunity

GSW is a full-service healthcare communications agency that goes beyond advertising to create personalized brand experiences. We develop strategic marketing solutions for pharmaceutical, biotech and health-and-wellness clients around the world. We create experiences that involve, inspire, educate and activate people through ongoing brand journeys.

Our GSW team is looking for an intellectually curious problem solver to join our team to help us continuously deliver strategic and data-driven solutions to our business unit partners and clients.

The goal of this internship is to offer the candidate a full view of what it is like to work in the healthcare communications field as part of a creative agency. During your time with the agency, you will get exposed to all aspects of the agency and what it takes to bring an idea to life.

Responsibilities:

• Serving as an active member of the agency team, contributing to day-to-day tasks associated with developing work.
• Participating in team meetings and, as appropriate, in client presentations
• Completing various tasks under the supervision of an agency team member, including potentially concepting ideas, generating copy/design elements, capturing and interpreting feedback, etc.
• Collaborating with fellow interns to complete a special project and presenting to the executive leadership team
• Seeking out increased opportunity for learning and exposure to aspects of the agency world that intrigue you most

Requirements:

• Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar
• Past internship experience or project work in Communications, Advertising
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams), email, and voicemail
• Above-average attention to detail, effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage a workload consisting of several concurrent projects or tasks

Candidates must be a minimum of a Rising Junior and currently enrolled full time in Spring/Summer or Spring/Fall ’26 semesters.

The Commercial Summer Intern Program runs from May 18, 2026 to July 24, 2026 and all positions will work full time (up to 40 hours per week).

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $24-26 but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
