Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Hot Tub & Pool Specialist / Property Caretaker to join our full-time operations team. This hybrid role ensures that pools, hot tubs, and property exteriors remain safe, clean, and guest-ready, while also supporting general caretaking duties across multiple luxury homes.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and maintaining elevated hospitality standards. Prior maintenance experience is beneficial but not required —we provide training. Transportation between properties is provided by Home Sweet Hudson.
Key ResponsibilitiesPool & Hot Tub Care
- Clean, service, and maintain pools, hot tubs, and spas to luxury hospitality standards
- Perform water testing and chemical balancing (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.)
- Conduct routine maintenance: skimming, vacuuming, brushing, filter cleaning
- Inspect pumps, heaters, covers, and equipment; report issues promptly
- Ensure all water features are fully guest-ready for arrivals and turnovers
Property Caretaking
- Conduct exterior walk-throughs and property checks
- Report maintenance concerns and assist with basic troubleshooting
- Support seasonal property needs (e.g., clearing pathways, outdoor prep)
- Assist with occasional guest-related needs in coordination with the operations team
- Complete digital checklists, upload photos, and document all work performed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with pool/hot tub care preferred , but training is available
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining luxury standards
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and with excellent judgment
- Strong communication skills and a hospitality-minded approach
- Comfortable working outdoors through all seasons
- Must be able to travel between properties — transportation provided

Schedule & Compensation
- Full-time role (40 hours/week)
- $21/hour
- Schedule aligned with property turnovers, guest arrivals/departures, and preventative maintenance
- Opportunity for additional hours during peak seasons
