Job Description

As a Fire Sprinkler Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of fire sprinkler systems. Your expertise in handling various types of pipes and sprinkler heads will be instrumental in providing top-notch service and installation.

Responsibilities

• Fit and install fire sprinkler systems using sprinkler, cast iron, grove, screw, and other types of pipes.
• Construct main lines and branch lines with precision and efficiency.
• Install and test sprinkler heads to ensure optimal performance.
• Interpret and work from blueprints to carry out installations.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete installations.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Experience in installation processes and techniques.
• Skilled in using power tools and hand tools.
• Knowledge of plumbing and construction methodologies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification.
• Site Safety Training (SST) certification.
• S-12 and S-13 certifications.
• Valid Driver's License.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted in Long Island, including Suffolk and Nassau counties. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with some overtime available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brentwood, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
