Position Summary – Banquet Assistant Maitre’d
We are seeking a dedicated and hospitality-driven Assistant Maitre’d to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Service Director, Maitre’d, and Front-of-House team to ensure flawless event execution and exceptional guest care. Your attention to detail, warm presence, and ability to anticipate needs will help elevate each event, ensuring every guest leaves with lasting memories.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of a variety of events, including weddings, social celebrations, and corporate functions.
• Greet and escort guests with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards in a banquet setting.
• Maintain the highest levels of safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout events.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure flawless service.
• Anticipate guest needs and address them promptly.
• Adhere to Department of Health food safety standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support event success.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of front-of-house banquet or fine dining experience, with a proven record of exceptional hospitality service.
• Strong communication, organization, and listening skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.

Job Details

• Type: Seasonal, Part-Time
• Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, and holidays; 10-hour shifts
• Location: In-person, Queens, NY

Physical Requirements
This role involves long hours on your feet, standing or walking for 8+ hours, and the ability to walk up and down stairs throughout the shift.
