Role - DevOps Engineer
Location - NYC (Hybrid)
Job Summary
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in designing and managing Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and containerized deployments. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in security, including threat modeling and GenAI integration experience, along with a deep understanding of modern DevOps tools and processes.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
Security & GenAI
Strong understanding of security principles including threat modeling
*
Hands-on experience in GenAI-based tool integrations
CI/CD and Automation
5–7 years of experience in Jenkins CI/CD pipeline implementation using Groovy scripting
*
Deep knowledge of shared library implementations
*
Integration of 3rd party tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx, etc., with Jenkins
*
Experience automating deployment for .NET and Java applications
*
Working knowledge of Quality Gates for code quality, security, smoke, regression, and performance testing
*
Strong scripting experience using Groovy, YAML, Shell/PowerShell
*
Good understanding of API concepts and automation using APIs
Infrastructure & Deployment
Experience in infrastructure automation
*
Hands-on exposure to containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
*
Working on multi-platform deployments (Cloud & On-Premises)
*
Familiarity with Artifactory, parameterization, and package management
Tool Integrations
Integrating CI/CD with JIRA, ServiceNow
*
Automating change management processes: request creation, approval, deployment, and closure
Team Collaboration
Strong communication and collaboration skills
*
Experience working in cross-functional teams
Good to Have
*
Experience working in fast-paced DevOps transformation environments
*
Extensive scripting experience in Java, Python, Shell, Ruby
*
Familiarity with:

CI/CD tools like Jfrog Xray, Gerrit, Junit, Jacoco
*
Application deployment for NodeJS and Java microservices
*
Platforms like OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud Foundry
*
Working knowledge of Agile/SCRUM/Kanban
*
Tools: Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Selenium, SoapUI, JMeter, Helm
