Could you be the full-time onsite Region Business Process Expert - Automation in any major Alstom US site we’re looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your automation and business intelligence expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.
You'll design and deploy impactful automated business solutions that reduce manual effort, enhance data accuracy, and provide clear performance insights. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as IS&T, SAP experts, and operational departments), troubleshoot complex system issues, and train end users to maximize solution value—and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Designing and deploying automated business solutions that reduce manual effort, perform mass data entry/update/migration, apply complex logic to identify attention areas, and extract and summarize complex data into clear performance indicators and/or operational information ,

  • Designing and deploying solutions, including required interfaces with SAP and other business systems, using SAP GUI scripting, Microsoft automation and analytics tools, and scripting/programming in languages such as PowerShell, VBA, M Language, DAX, and Python ,

  • Designing and deploying solutions across multiple applications and systems, including browsers, SAP GUI, Outlook, and Excel, in orchestrated workflows ,

  • Developing and implementing robust validation test plans ,

  • Identifying and resolving all technical issues to deliver stable, scalable, and secure fully-automated solutions ,

  • Quickly learning and using new tools, languages, and/or techniques to meet business solution requirements ,

  • Training and supporting end users ,

  • Providing clear solution documentation, both for users and developers ,

  • Maximizing the applicability of solutions across all business sites ,

  • Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and reliability in solutions"

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or a related field ,

  • Experience or understanding of software and/or Business Intelligence tool development ,

  • Knowledge of SAP ECC, including SAP GUI scripting and core business process flows ,

  • Familiarity with Microsoft automation and analytics tools, such as Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps, and Excel VBA ,

  • Strong scripting and programming skills in languages such as PowerShell, VBA, M Language, DAX, and Python ,

  • Experience designing and deploying automated solutions that reduce manual effort and enhance data management ,

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and deliver scalable, stable solutions ,

  • Exceptional adaptability to learn and use new tools, technologies, and techniques ,

  • Ability to train and support end users, with clear and concise solution documentation ,

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to work at one of the major US Alstom sites within a 1 hour radius of location (not a remote role).
