Service and Parts Coordinator

Automatic Equipment Service, Inc. is located in Ravena, NY, and serves the restaurant and hospitality industry in the greater Northeast and North Atlantic areas. We are celebrating our 26th year in 2023! We are family-owned with low employee turnover. We are pursuing a Service and Parts Coordinator to strategically coordinate when and where our service technicians go, to provide top-notch customer service, and to manage parts inventory. Essential Functions:

Maintaining responsibility for coordinating all of the company’s technicians in a manner that maximizes efficiency and ensures customer satisfaction

»
Answering in-bound calls from customers and assessing their needs

»
Scheduling and dispatching technicians to customer’s businesses

»
Providing exceptional customer service to customers at all times

»
Following-up with customers to ensure satisfaction

»
Monitoring parts used and parts backordered as well as order status

»
Receiving parts and placing them into inventory (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.)

»
Monitoring order status of backordered parts for service call follow-up

»
Working as a team player and contributing to the team accordingly

»
Performing other tasks as assigned

Qualifications and expertise:

»
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent practice

»
Previous practice as dispatcher is a plus

»
General computer literacy

»
Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication expertise with a talent for customer service

»
Must be efficient with strong attention to detail; capability to prioritize tasks

»
Must have strong expertise in organization and planning; demonstrated capability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem-solving
