About the Team
The ChatGPT team supports the OpenAI mission by innovating and refining the user experience, technical architecture, and core features of ChatGPT across various platforms. We focus on building scalable, user-centric solutions that empower seamless interactions with ChatGPT, while enabling rapid development and iteration of impactful features that push the boundaries of what is possible through AI.
About the Role
We are looking for a senior software engineer to focus on building and maintaining core features within the ChatGPT Android app. In this role, you will:
Build and ship new Android experiences that expand the boundaries of AI-powered mobile applications, delivering a useful and delightful assistant in every user’s pocket.
Drive foundational improvements in the Android app, including optimizing performance, establishing robust testing frameworks, refining app architecture, and integrating cutting-edge Android platform capabilities.
Collaborate on high-impact projects by working closely with product, design, research, and data science teams to achieve product goals and improve user experiences.
Prioritize quality and user satisfaction by focusing on performance, reliability, and responsiveness, ensuring a delightful experience for ChatGPT Android users.
Foster an inclusive and innovative culture where diverse perspectives are valued, and constructive feedback drives better outcomes.
