IT Technician

We are looking for a highly skilled IT project manager to provide value to our publishing company. The ideal candidate possesses excellent verbal communication skills necessary to effectively coordinate across our sales and editorial departments to ensure projects align with our business goals. You will work under our business directors to complete project requirements from start to finish. You will also work closely with our business manager with any small or big office tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Management of WordPress CMS: Article publication, Page creation, Website backups, and Plugin updates

· Create weekly server backups. Weekly database backups. (Training provided)

· Troubleshoot general office computers and network issues. Helping colleagues with IT related problems as requested.

· Keeping, securing, and managing company accounts, passwords, keys, and logins to vital programs.

· Daily end-of-day imports/exports of client member data from database to company website. (Training provided)

· Responsible for uploading quarterly magazines to Issuu.com and managing email marketing programs to distribute magazines to members.

· External technical problems are to be addressed with the proper entity promptly. Examples: Vonage Business support, Optimum Business support, and other such services as needed.

Requirements/Skills:

·· Knowledge of programs such as file conversion tools, anti-virus, automation tools, repair tools, etc.

· Able to troubleshoot Windows 7 & 10 based · Technical knowledge of computer software and hardware

Familiar with CRM software

Programming knowledge is a plus.

· Experience with VOIP Polycom or other business phone systems is a plus.

· Time management, communication, and multi-tasking skills.

· Physically capable of carrying equipment weighing up to ~40lbs when necessary.

· A reliable car is required to assist remote staff
