Pay

$19.00 - $21.00/hour starting pay, with opportunity to increase up to $25.00/hour with leadership positions.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Landscaping and hands-on experience preferred; horticulture degree a plus.
• Highly motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Strong time management, job planning, problem-solving skills, and mechanical aptitude.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the industry.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and under seasonal pressure.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials regularly.
• Ability to load/unload vehicles and safely transport equipment and materials to job sites.
• Clean and professional appearance.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Willingness to work in a smoke-free workplace.
• High school degree or GED required.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete landscape maintenance duties such as spring and fall clean-ups, edging/mulching, pruning, plantings, and mowing.
• Ensure projects are completed efficiently while meeting productivity targets and quality standards.
• Interact with customers on job sites, addressing questions and ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.
• Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including chainsaws, hedge clippers, commercial mowers, blowers, line trimmers, skid steers, and backhoes.
• Follow equipment safety and maintenance procedures, notifying management of needed repairs.

Physical requirements for all positions:

• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors and be exposed to all weather conditions.
• Ability to stand and bend for periods of time.

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Monday – Friday, Saturdays as needed during peak seasons.
• Hours at times may vary depending on work demands.
• Overtime available
