Job Description

The Cleaner plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of Schulson Collective restaurants. This position supports both front‑ and back‑of‑house teams by ensuring that all spaces are clean, safe, and guest‑ready at all times. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail‑oriented, and committed to upholding the Collective’s high standards of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of dining rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost in accordance with restaurant procedures
• Restock supplies such as paper goods, cleaning products, and service items
• Perform light maintenance tasks (e.g., changing bulbs, wiping surfaces, organizing storage areas)
• Support dishwashing team as needed during peak hours
• Ensure walkways and entry areas remain clean and welcoming
• Communicate any facility or equipment issues to management promptly
• Uphold Schulson Collective’s core values through teamwork, respect, and hands‑on engagement

Qualifications

• Prior porter, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
• Weekend and evening availability
