THIS IS A LIVE-IN POSITION
Live-In Details: Live in Monday through Friday. Private bedroom and bathroom
Days: Mon - Fri
Hours: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM ( 44 Hours per week- hours TBD )
Compensation: $35 to $45 per hour, Paid via W2 (on the books)
Additional Benefits: Health Insurance, Paid Vacation
Start Date: 4/1/2026
A family in New York, NY is seeking a professional and detail-oriented full-time live-in housekeeper who is experienced in maintaining private residences. Skilled in deep cleaning, laundry and garment care, organization, and upholding high household standards with discretion, reliability, and efficiency.
Main Work Duties:
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of all rooms and common areas
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
- Organization of closets, storage areas, and household supplies
- Light meal preparation (3 meals an day)
- Assistance with grocery shopping
- Occasional errands and household management tasks
- Care for household items, furnishings, and linens
- Able to assist with dinner parties
Required Qualities:
- Experienced
- Trustworthy
- Detail-oriented
- Fluent in English
- Able to run and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment
- Must have a lovely demeanor
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ solid years of live-in housekeeping experience for a private home.
- Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
- Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
