We are currently looking for a top-tier Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Python programming in a financial context. This is a pivotal role, where you will be tackling technically challenging problems and working with cutting edge AI technology.

You will be reporting to the Head of Data Operations and will be working alongside a team of talented engineers.

• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our ETL pipelines, handling diverse data formats, and ensuring data quality and consistency.
• You'll work on automating data processing workflows while implementing robust validation and error handling mechanisms to maintain data integrity.
• You will conduct testing on data movement, transformation code, and data components to ensure integrity, accuracy, and high-quality deliverables for all data processing.
• You will design and implement data solutions for new initiatives and provide continuous oversight for existing solutions to improve quality and performance.
• You will assess and integrate new data sources into pipelines to meet evolving business needs.
• You’ll provide technical design and coding assistance to junior team members, ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives.

Requirements

• The role requires a strong expertise in Python data manipulation libraries and a solid understanding of financial data structures.
• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Solid data engineering experience.
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources (including APIs).
• Experience working with remote teams.
• Knowledge and exposure to Azure and / or AWS.
