Position Summary
Join our dedicated Medical Services team in delivering high-quality reproductive and prenatal healthcare. As a key clinical provider, you will offer care aligned with our organization’s protocols and play an essential role in supporting our patients' overall well-being.
Essential Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including obstetric, gynecologic, contraceptive, medical, surgical, sexual, family, and psychosocial histories.
Perform physical examinations with an emphasis on reproductive health, including:
Breast and pelvic exams
Cancer screenings
STI diagnosis and treatment
Specialized procedures as outlined in medical policy
Provide direct medical care for core services, including:
Prenatal care
Family planning
Medication and surgical abortion
Colposcopy (post-training and approval)
Maintain a patient throughput of 3.5 encounters per hour .
Interpret and order diagnostic studies per affiliate protocols.
Deliver patient education on topics such as family planning, nutrition, sexual health, and preventive care.
Offer referrals and ensure proper follow-up.
Collaborate with leadership including the Chief Medical Director and VP of Patient Services to ensure clinical compliance and excellence.
Participate in customer-focused initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Support culturally competent, patient-centered care aligned with our mission and values.
Document care accurately and in compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and Title X regulations.
Maintain professional communication, teamwork, and a solution-oriented approach within the clinical team.
Additional Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., physicians, public health departments, social services) to provide holistic patient care.
Participate in Compliance, Risk Management, and Quality Assurance programs and medical committee meetings.
Regularly check and respond to organizational email communications (minimum once every 24 hours).
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Licensure:
Current licensure in New York State as an NP, PA, CNM, or MD
National certification preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Experience:
3–5 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
Experience or willingness to manage a patient volume of 3.5+ patients per hour
Prior supervisory or leadership experience is a plus
