Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Cardiac Device Specialist / Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
Responsibilities
- Perform pacemaker, ICD, and cardiac device interrogations and programming
- Assist with electrophysiology procedures and cardiac rhythm management services
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient device data and findings
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and charge entry
- Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff regarding cardiac devices and electrophysiology services
- Collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Troubleshoot device-related issues and provide technical support
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety protocols
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience with pacemaker and ICD interrogation and programming required
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Cardiac Device Technology, Electrophysiology (EP), Cardiology, or MRI Operations preferred
- Completion of an accredited Cardiac Electrophysiology Technology program or equivalent education and experience preferred
- Experience in a cardiology or electrophysiology setting preferred
- Experience with EMR documentation and charge entry preferred
- Experience educating patients, families, and healthcare staff regarding cardiac devices and electrophysiology monitoring preferred
