OPEN CALL – SOUS CHEF
Marsanne Restaurant is hiring an experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.
Location: 233 8th Avenue, Chelsea, New York
Open Call: Friday July 24th
⏰ Time: 2:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:
• Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations
• Supervise and support the kitchen team during service
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety
• Assist with food preparation, inventory, ordering, and waste control
• Train and guide kitchen staff
• Ensure all dishes are prepared according to restaurant standards
• Help maintain an efficient and professional kitchen environment
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership position
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to remain calm and organized during busy service periods
