Summary of Role:

?Broadview Federal Credit Union is proud to offer students and emerging workers the opportunity to learn professional skills. Candidates hired as interns will work with a mentor or team to gain financial institution experience in various operational areas.

We are currently seeking Summer seasonal employees to support various departments across the organization. These positions will provide well-rounded experiences within the department(s) and will offer the opportunity to assist across multiple areas as time permits.

Interns will meet and interact with Credit Union members and employees, learn about the careers of these professionals and develop mentoring relationships that will help advance your careers.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

• Performing clerical duties, taking memos, maintaining files, and organizing documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed

• Assisting in preparing information and research materials for projects and/or presentations

• Answering phone inquiries, directing calls, and providing basic company information

• Recording notes and memos during meetings as well as typing documents, drafts, and reports

• Managing databases and inputting information, data, and records

• Attending company functions and networking events, as applicable

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Current enrollment in a relevant degree program with an accredited university/college required

• Must be willing to report to the office daily

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent relationship building skills, demonstrated collaborative approach

• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and technical skills

• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

• Professional presentation and ability to handle confidential information

• Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Starting Compensation: $20/hr.

Bilingual individuals who are fluent in a second language in addition to English are highly encouraged to apply.
