Financial Engineer
About Our Client
Our client is redefining the infrastructure behind one of the largest and most complex markets in the world: OTC derivatives .
This market moves trillions of dollars daily , yet much of the underlying technology has remained largely unchanged for decades. Our client is building a modern, AI-native platform designed to power the next evolution of financial services—combining deep financial engineering with a modern cloud stack and world-class developer experience.
The founding team comes from tier-one banks, hedge funds, and trading firms , where they previously built and operated some of the most sophisticated systems in the industry. Today, they are applying that expertise to create infrastructure capable of processing the most complex transactions across global financial markets—at scale, with precision, and with a focus on long-term impact.
Their clients include some of the most sophisticated banks, hedge funds, and asset managers in the world . The problems are technically challenging, the data is dense, and the systems being built will influence how this market operates for decades.
Technology Environment
This is a modern, cloud-native engineering organization:

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Backend services written primarily in Python and Java
