Receptionist
Position Overview South Shore Kia is seeking a courteous and organized Service Department Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our service department. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless experience for our service and sales customers by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Compensation
- $17–$20 per hour (based on experience)
- Full-time position available
- Saturday availability is required
- Greet service customers warmly and direct them to the appropriate personnel or area.
- Answer and manage incoming service-related phone calls and emails, including scheduling appointments and providing general information.
- Maintain accurate and organized service appointment schedules.
- Handle basic administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining service department records.
- Communicate professionally with customers to ensure their questions and concerns are addressed promptly.
- Keep the service waiting area clean, organized, and stocked with refreshments as needed.
- Assist the service advisors and department staff with additional tasks as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in customer service or a receptionist role preferred (automotive experience is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using computer systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
