Staff Integration Engineer

is currently seeking a proactive integration engineer with a strong GaN materials science background to join the GaN technology development team. . This person will work to understand the material structure-device property relationships, and drive device technology improvements through to discrete device qualification and pilot production. The ideal candidate will also provide technical leadership, support, and training to internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for various aspects of technology development including process integration, device design, technology design rules, test chip, parametric testing, and process qualification.
• Propose technology design rules based on tool and process capabilities.
• Analysis and correlation of inline fab data and electrical data.
• Work with process engineers to:
  • Define and track fab experiments including statistical data analysis, documentation of results, and driving next steps.
  • Drive unit modules to process maturity milestones.
• Define next-generation process architecture and be responsible for technology scaling.
• Ensure site procedures and workflows are consistent with corporate practices.
• Maintains documentation records for all internal samples.
• Prepares periodic reports of performance for upper management.
• Other tasks as needed or assigned.

Requirements:

• Masters or Ph.D. preferred, in engineering or a science, with 3+ years of industrial/manufacturing experience.
• Experience investigating GaN crystal defect configurations for high power electronic device development.
• Working knowledge of XRD and Topography imaging systems (Synchrotron or Lab) a plus.
• Working knowledge of semiconductor thin film growth a plus.
• Experience with Minitab, JMP, Tableau or similar software preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, planning and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing environment.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to manage conflict in a stressful environment.
• Understands and listens to team members and fosters a productive team environment.
• Handles multiple projects and priorities.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Proficient in advanced techniques with relevant software: MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. in addition to experience working within shared work environments.

is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $101,700.00-$172,700.00 range exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. We also offer a competitive benefits package.
