We are seeking a dynamic, community-focused Marketing Coordinator to help tell our story, strengthen local relationships, and support continued growth.

About the Position
The Marketing Coordinator will own and execute our local marketing initiatives, connecting our expertise to homeowners through thoughtful content, strong local presence, and consistent communication.

This role blends creativity, organization, and field-based storytelling. You’ll work closely with leadership and staff to translate on-the-ground tree care expertise into clear, educational marketing that builds trust and drives long-term relationships.

Local travel is required for job site visits, events, and community engagement opportunities.

Role Overview
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning, creating, and executing local marketing initiatives, with a focus on:
• Social media management
• Email marketing
• Blog and website content
• Local events and community engagement

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Execution
• Own and manage social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with seasonal services, local conditions, and company priorities.
• Capture photos and short-form videos at job sites, events, and in the field to highlight real work, real people, and real results.
• Write, schedule, and publish educational posts that reinforce expertise and reflect brand values.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and flag opportunities or concerns.
• Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth) and share insights with leadership.

Email Marketing & Customer Communication
• Plan and execute email communications to existing customers, including seasonal reminders, educational content, and service updates.
• Coordinate messaging with the service calendar and seasonal priorities.
• Maintain consistency in voice, branding, and messaging accuracy.
• Monitor open and click-through rates and refine content over time.

Blog & Website Content
• Own the creation and posting of blog content in collaboration with staff and leadership.
• Develop blog topics that support seasonal services and homeowner education.
• Publish and maintain blog content on the website, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with our service approach.
• Repurpose blog content for social media and email campaigns.

Local Events & Community Engagement
• Identify, recommend, and coordinate local events, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities aligned with our audience.
• Attend and represent the brand at select community and industry events.
• Coordinate booth setup, materials, and signage for events.
• Manage post-event follow-up and help evaluate event ROI.

Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in social media management, local marketing, or content-focused marketing roles.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to translate technical topics into clear, homeowner-friendly language.
• Comfortable capturing photos and short-form video in the field.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple content streams and deadlines.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a small, experienced team.
• Interest in environmental stewardship, sustainability, or science-based services is a strong plus.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
