Parts Manager
Moriarty Diesel is a busy family-owned heavy duty truck repair shop located in Rochester, NY. They are currently seeking to hire a reliable and detail-oriented parts manager to join the team. Prior experience in automotive parts management is required and heavy-duty parts management is a bonus!
Responsibilities:
- Monitor inventory levels for shop supplies and parts.
- Create and track purchase orders, invoices and core returns.
- Source parts from vendors and negotiate pricing and availability.
- Order new/replacement parts for stock and customer jobs.
- Work closely with technicians and service manager to ensure parts are available when needed.
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve parts issues or discrepancies.
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm
Pay: $25-$32/hour (pay based on experience)
