Senior Payroll Tax Specialist

education: Bachelors Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert on payroll and payroll tax matters
- Process payrolls using ADP Smart Compliance
- Perform accurate calculation for new hires, terminations, LOAs, third party sick pay, and salary changes
- Review of severance agreements and payments
- Conduct Peer-review for any transactions issued by Payroll team members
- Research critical issues while meeting Payroll SLA’s
- Assist with Payroll implementation work
- 5 years experience in Payroll Tax, with knowledge and practice of payroll tax in US - all states (tax filings, forms, quarterly wages and reports, etc…)
- Intermediate / Advanced skill with MS Excel
Assignment Length: 6 months with possibility of extension or transition to a permanent associate.
Hybrid: 1-2 days in office in Newark, NJ, New York, NY or Edgewood, NY
- Payroll Tax (5 years of experience is preferred)
- Payroll Processing (5 years of experience is preferred)
- Tax Compliance
- ADP SmartCompliance
- Microsoft Excel (2 years of experience is preferred)
- Years of experience: 5 years
