Field Service Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Field Service Engineer at our Poestenkill, NY site.
The role:
As a Field Service Enginee r, you will serve as a key technical representative supporting customers across global sites. This role is critical in maintaining system performance, resolving complex technical issues, and strengthening long-term customer relationships. You will work closely with internal engineering and production teams while delivering high-impact service in the field.
This position requires a strong electrical foundation, practical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate independently in dynamic environments.
Here are some of the responsibilities of the position:
- Commission, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites globally
- Perform root cause analysis on electrical systems and implement corrective actions
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to diagnose system issues
- Support system configuration, calibration, and final validation both in-house and onsite
- Partner with internal engineering teams to resolve escalated technical challenges
- Maintain accurate service documentation and provide technical feedback for continuous improvement
- Deliver high-quality customer support while managing multiple service priorities
North America Benefits:
Base Salary: $70,000- $80,000 per year depending on experience.

REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- 3+ years of hands-on field service or technical support experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics independently
- Experience with tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes; programming knowledge is a plus
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
- Experience in aviation, battery technology, advanced manufacturing, or similar industries is a plus
- Exposure to 3D printing or precision equipment environments is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and in team settings
