Account Supervisor, Social Media, Influencer and PR Strategy

DKC New York is seeking a dynamic and confident Account Supervisor with a strong background in social media and influencer marketing to join our growing Hospitality practice with a specialty in food and travel. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in creating impactful influencer campaigns, social media content, and digital marketing strategies while partnering with PR teams on campaigns and managing client relations. As an integral part of our team, you will help execute campaigns that merge creative storytelling with strategic media outreach.

In this role, you’ll not only contribute to public relations strategies but also actively assist in curating influencers, engaging social media content and developing strategies to boost our clients' presence in the restaurant and travel industries. A passion for social media trends, influencer relations, and digital innovation is essential!

Key Responsibilities:

• Influencer & Social Media Strategy: Lead the development of social media campaigns and influencer marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with client branding and campaign goals.
• Content Creation & Management: Curate, create, and manage engaging content for hospitality brands across platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
• Social Media Scheduling & Monitoring: Utilize tools like PLANOLY , Hootsuite , and Canva to schedule, design, and monitor social media posts.
• Media Relations & Placements: Pitch and secure high-profile media placements for client campaigns, products, launches, events, and philanthropic efforts, while maintaining strong relationships with media contacts and influencers.
• Creative Campaign Development: Brainstorm and implement creative strategies to elevate clients' social media presence and integrate them into broader media campaigns.
• Trend Monitoring & Adaptation: Stay on

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications , Journalism , or a related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant social, PR agency or in-house experience, specifically within the hospitality, food, and travel industries.
• Significant experience with influencer marketing , social media management , and creating impactful content.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional results for clients through media placements.
• Strong relationship-building skills with media and influencers.
• Familiarity with current pop culture , design , and social media trends .
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proven track record in business development and networking.

The salary range for this role is commensurate with experience: $90k-$110k.
