DDMA is a luxury millwork company that specializes in high-end residential, retail and commercial projects throughout the US and Canada. We are based on the Nassau/Suffolk border of Long Island. DDMA has been in business since 1989 and are looking to continue our growth by adding a full-time Millwork Draftsman. We are seeking an individual with experience in high-end, luxury residential and retail millwork. The proper candidate will be able to produce shop drawings in 2D and 3D using AutoCAD and/or Inventor. You will be working alongside a team of project executives, project managers and other drafting professionals to turn design or architectural drawings into full scale, functional drawings.

Job Responsibilities:

· Read and interpret architectural, design and/or millwork drawings.

· Create 2D & 3D shop drawings that will be used to manufacture high-end millwork

· Collaborate with project team to create drafting timeframes and schedules.

· Collaborate with project managers and production team during the development of all concepts and drawings

· This is a client facing position with the opportunity to discuss details, drawings, etc. Strong communication skills are required

Skills Required:

· Minimum 4 years, full-time experience with Auto-CAD and/or inventor (3-D modeling)

· Millwork and/or high-end architectural experience is preferred

· Proficient communication skills, both oral and written

· Must be organized and have the ability to multitask between projects and/or clients

· Ability to work within a team and present creative solutions and suggestions

· Must have a high level of attention to detail
