Project Manager Business Operations

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to join the External Manufacturing team of a large Pharmaceutical company. The Project Manager independently leads complex, high-visibility projects within the EM Strategy & Operational Excellence portfolio. This role requires a seasoned project leader who can operate with minimal oversight, drive clarity in ambiguous environments, and influence cross-functional stakeholders to achieve critical program outcomes. The PM proactively anticipates risks, accelerates decision-making, and ensures transparent communication across all levels of the organization.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Lead and execute multiple external manufacturing projects; build and manage project plans, roadmaps, and reporting

-Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues with clear recommendations

-Apply structured thinking, scenario planning, and data-driven decision-making

-Coordinate across EM, QA, QC, MSAT, Supply Chain, and external partners

-Drive cross-functional alignment through effective meetings, clear agendas, and follow-through

-Build strong relationships with leaders, SMEs, and CMOs to influence outcomes

-Maintain planning tools, shared databases, and standardized processes

-Improve program efficiency, data integrity, and execution discipline

-Deliver concise leadership updates: summaries, risk logs, dashboards, and briefs

-Communicate clearly and proactively, translating complex information for diverse audiences

Skills and Requirements

-Experience leading complex cross-functional efforts with minimal oversight.

-Project management expertise: planning, scheduling, resource management, risk and issue tracking, governance

-Advanced proficiency with Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams

-Strong communication skills with ability to influence, negotiate, and align cross-functional teams

-Effective in ambiguity; anticipates issues and drives proactive solutions

-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

-Operates independently with sound judgment and consistent, high-quality delivery

-Bachelor's degree in a physical or biological science -Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred

-PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification a plus.
