Summer 2026 PhD Intern - Precision Medicine & Imaging

Our Summer Internship position is from May/June 2026 - August 2026 and located onsite in our Tarrytown, NY campus.Project Description:
Clinical imaging is seeking an intern working out of Tarrytown, NY to aid in the continued development of our imaging biomarkers for neurological disease programs. The position is in the Clinical Imaging group. The intern would design and execute a project to understand the utility of MRI, SPECT, and PET imaging biomarkers to support diagnosis, stratify patients, and measure treatment response. Key responsibilities: conduct literature reviews, develop hypotheses, process imaging data from public databases, conduct statistical analyses, prepare presentations, collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Background Needed:
- Degree in biomedical engineering or life sciences with a background in imaging.
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, or other related field.
- Experience in programming (e.g., R, Python, Matlab), image processing, and statistical analysis is preferred.
Please note our intern pay ranges are determined by level of education (year in school) and degree program.
- The hourly rate range for all other locations is: $19.00-$54.00 per hour.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a PhD degree and be completing your degree in December 2026 or later. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred. We want someone who can commit to 40 hours per week from May/June - August 2026. Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or within the community is also preferred.
