Sustainable Finance Strategy Execution VP New York

As a Barclays Sustainable Finance Execution Vice President, you will oversee and lead the implementation of multiple projects in sustainable and transition finance. These projects are key to Barclays' ambition to deliver USD 1 trillion market leading sustainable finance franchise. You will directly support the Head of Sustainable Finance. In this role, you will also provide assistance to the front office across a range of initiatives such as: content creation, product development and governance, and project management/delivery.

Salary / Rate Minimum: $169,500 Salary / Rate Maximum: $207,500

What will you be doing?

• Supporting the execution of significant delivery projects across CIB Sustainable Finance, including (but not limited to) the standing-up of new growth initiatives
• Monitoring and reporting on the delivery of Sustainable Finance projects, including tracking progress against plan and, where relevant, costs and return on investment
• Assisting with the review of Sustainable Finance initiatives and projects to ensure that they are aligned with Barclays Group's strategy
• Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders which will support the delivery of strategic projects
• Monitoring developments in Sustainable Finance, including changes to regulations and emerging best practices, adapting project requirements and delivery accordingly
• Contributing to the development of Sustainable Finance project management methodologies
• Taking on illustrative projects such as ESG data strategy, acceleration of new sustainability focused business lines, training & development programs

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field and experience supporting front office areas in multidisciplinary projects
• Knowledge of and passion for Sustainable Finance and its application in a business context
• Experience with project management as part of a team, preferably including in a Sustainable Finance context
• Ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with sustainability projects and frameworks
• Experience working with international clients and markets

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
