Assistant Baker/Pastry Cook – Circle Hospitality Group (Koreatown, NYC)

Circle Hospitality Group is launching a new Asian-inspired bakery in Koreatown, NYC. We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Baker to help execute daily production and ensure high-quality baked goods for our customers.

• Execute daily baking production following established recipes and standards.

• Prepare and bake a variety of Asian-inspired breads, pastries, and desserts.

• Maintain consistency in product quality, taste, and presentation.

• Manage time effectively to execute baking rounds efficiently and meet daily production deadlines.

• Assist with prep, portioning, and packaging baked goods.

• Maintain clear communication with the Head Baker and culinary team to ensure consistency and smooth production flow.

• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

• Work collaboratively with the Head Baker and culinary team to meet production goals, especially in high-volume production settings.

• Minimum 2 years of professional bread baking experience required.

• Previous professional baking or pastry experience preferred (1–2+ years).

• Experience in high-volume production environments preferred.

• Experience working with deck ovens preferred.

• Familiarity or interest in Asian-style baking is a strong plus.

• Strong time management skills with the ability to execute baking rounds efficiently.

• Clear communication skills and a commitment to consistency and quality.

• Open availability to work early mornings and/or weekends, including holidays as needed.

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow recipes accurately.

• Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

• $17/hour , with opportunities for growth within the bakery and the broader Circle Hospitality Group.
