this job offer is the primary contact for Empire Merchants North customers and sales associates regarding customer payments, payment terms, and collections of past due balances. .

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS
• Maintain cash flow for EMN by applying payment to invoice(s), check processors have placed on customers account (On Account spreadsheet), update SAP terms for returned and/or ACH received from Finance, upload IPayx and Fintech payments into SAP and provide backup to Finance on cash application during high volume.
• Process notifications of invoice due to customer via email and sales management.
• Process past due A/R by securing payment plans on past due balances, provide progress and notes to Credit adjunct and AR manager.
• Process Credit Block on pending orders by removing block, assigning credit terms, or extend credit limit increase on orders up to 5% but not to exceed $1,000.
• Report unpaid past due invoices to SLA and release customers to SLA for paid invoices while adhering to company policies and remaining compliant due to SLA regulations.
• Process State delinquent listing by updating customer credit terms.
• Post disputed items onto Excel spreadsheet for submission to SLA
• Provide Reception coverage as needed.
• Assist Customer Care team where needed by but not limited processing orders and order related inquiries.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related issues as needed.
• Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Maintain organization’s stcapability and reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.

Education, Certifications and/or licenses:

»High School Graduate / GED

»Two years related practice and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and practice - will train right candidate

»Proficient PC expertise using MS Office

»Must be results oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication expertise using diplomacy and discretion.
