Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for MedSurg unit
• Float to Med Surg units as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must have NY license in hand - no exceptions
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• BLS certification required
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Care for 26-bed unit specializing in post PCI, pacemaker, AICD, and post MI patients
• Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency response including dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Skills include IV therapy, phlebotomy, peripheral line care, respiratory support, and isolation precautions
• Work with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
• Manage complex care patients including medicine, ortho overflow, and long-term patients
