Over the years, our firm has handled thousands of litigation matters on behalf of our clients and over 75,000 litigation matters for insurers alone. As a Paralegal at Merani Kamara Law Group, you will work across the litigation process. This could include prepping a file for trial, preparing court documents, compiling discovery requests, and supporting attorneys with e-filing or updating our files. Your contributions will not only support our attorneys but also help facilitate positive outcomes for our clients, making your role integral to the firm’s success and reputation in the legal industry.

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a litigation environment. Insurance defense experience is preferred, but not required.
• Paralegal certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Capable of working across multiple files and software systems to achieve results.
• Proactive problem solving with demonstrated willingness to ask questions to understand processes.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Caret Legal (or other case management software), NetDocuments (or similar document management systems).
• Prior experience working in fast-paced or high volume environments.
• Ability to pass applicable background and reference checks.
• Willing to work onsite 5 days a week.
